Single Source/Multi-channel Outputs

Enhancing Document Management and Delivery with TuringText Technology

TuringText SSMO System

With the increasing prevalence of internet applications, customer experience is becoming ever more paramount. Data-driven documents such as credit card statements, telecom bills, reconciliation statements, transaction records, financial reports, insurance policies, etc., are increasingly complex to present in a singular form. In addition to traditional paper printouts, various electronic formats are necessary as supplements, and these documents need to be shared through multiple channels.

The diversity in outputs introduces complexity in management. Facing such increasingly complex demands has gradually become a nightmare for IT and operations units. The concept of Single Source/Multi-channel Outputs (TuringText SSMO) arises precisely to address these challenges.

Utilizing cutting-edge internet technologies, Same Source Digital Intelligence has developed the TuringText SSMO framework to tackle the aforementioned dilemmas.

Template Development

Template Development For template development, we utilize standard internet languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, adhering to the CSS3 Page Media Level output page description syntax. This ensures compatibility for both print and electronic displays, adhering to the principle of Single Source.

CSS is employed for separating content and style, ensuring that "content remains content, and style remains style." This separation allows for instantaneous changes in style and layout, thus avoiding disasters caused by item-by-item modifications. Moreover, CSS being a native internet styling language ensures adaptability to the rapid evolution of the internet.

The inclusion of JavaScript enables the integration of document templates with data, meeting more complex interactive display requirements and enhancing template flexibility.

Multi-format Document Rendering

Supporting diverse output formats such as HTML, PDF, ePub, etc., especially focusing on high-volume complex document production. It can scale horizontally by adding rendering output capabilities.

Multi-channel Outputs

TuringText SSMO adopts a Microservice Architecture, offering flexibility and scalability in both functional and output capacity expansion. This ensures meeting diverse future output requirements. Current document outputs mostly stop at paper and static PDF electronic displays, which may soon fall short of market demands as users accustomed to internet usage habits increasingly demand more sophisticated document presentations.

Deployment

Based on the TuringText SSMO framework, we provide two deployment modes:

  • TuringText SSMO Central - Cloud
A cloud-based version where users can collaborate on template development and document rendering via browsers without needing any client installations. It offers optimal performance in collaboration and user experience.

  • TuringText SSMO Central - On-premise
Installed within the enterprise or private cloud, enabling full control and management by the enterprise.
